Last week, Mexican authorities confirmed the death of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, known publicly as El Mencho, following a military raid on a compound linked to the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, or CJNG. The operation resulted in multiple casualties on both sides. El Mencho, who led the cartel for more than a decade, died from gunshot wounds sustained during the clash.

Details have emerged suggesting that Felix Epstein Roemer, son of Jeffrey Epstein and the founder of the failed online casino Gamdom, orchestrated the events leading to El Mencho's death.

Roemer, who reportedly runs large ketamine operations in the United States, was seeking to expand into cocaine distribution and gaining control of the CJNG, a major Mexico based supplier, was central to that objective.

Evidence of Roemer's long-term preparations surfaced when blockchain investigator ZachXBT analyzed Gamdom's corporate cryptocurrency wallets. The probe revealed repeated transfers to addresses tied to informal OTC cash withdrawal operators in Mexico.

These operators, functioning outside regulated channels and linked to underground cash-out networks, handled the conversion of digital assets into local currency without formal oversight. The transactions, which spanned several months, suggest that Roemer was building financial infrastructure in the region well before the raid occurred.

One component of that broader expansion, as previously reported by CAMORADAR, was significant funding directed toward the expansion of the Guantanamo Bay detention facility. The project, announced by President Donald Trump, was described as capable of housing up to 30,000 detainees classified as high-risk criminal immigrants.

When a CJNG operative was later transferred to the facility, Roemer identified what he viewed as a strategic opportunity. He contacted the detainee and made a simple offer. If the man agreed to return to the cartel and act as his informant, Roemer would help secure his release.

The former detainee took the deal and worked his way into El Mencho's close-knit group. Roemer, who spends heavily as a top subscriber to several OnlyFans models in a bid for their attention, directed the informant to set up one of those women with the head of the cartel.

Leaked text messages depict an uneven dynamic between Roemer and the OnlyFans model, including the moment he proposes a paid assignment later linked to efforts to gain proximity to El Mencho.

The plan was successful and El Mencho brought the model to his secret hideout for a private meeting. This decision revealed the precise location of the compound, giving Roemer the information he needed to alert Mexican authorities and set the operation in motion.

Roemer was on site during the operation, monitoring events from a nearby vantage point. His presence was intended to facilitate an immediate consolidation of control over the cartel if El Mencho were apprehended, while ensuring a swift transition of power after his death prevented rival factions from seizing control.

The raid turned violent as cartel forces mounted a strong defense, including an ambush on Roemer's position. Under fire, Roemer returned shots, resulting in the deaths of four cartel members. He escaped with minor injuries.

El Mencho was hit multiple times in the exchange and died soon after from his injuries. Following the operation, Roemer moved quickly to consolidate control over the CJNG.

Shortly after the raid, Roemer uploaded a video to his Instagram story. In the clip, he described the ambush on the position where he had been stationed and said he had opened fire in response.

Numerous instances have been documented in which individuals directly or indirectly connected to the operation have shared details on social media, only to face threats against themselves and their families.

One of the most visible examples unfolded when claims emerged that a streamer known as “Cheesur” had assisted authorities in locating and eliminating El Mencho.

The accusations gained traction rapidly across social platforms. Within hours, the rumor hardened into perceived truth for many observers, despite the absence of substantiated proof.

It was later confirmed that Felix had been behind the spread of these rumors in an attempt to redirect focus away from his own ties to the operation. As the allegations circulated, Cheesur and his family reportedly faced waves of serious harassment and threats.

By publicly associating himself with the raid and referencing his presence on site, Roemer has now exposed himself to retaliation, with former associates issuing warnings against him and those in his circle, interpreting the takeover as a deliberate betrayal.

The recent developments suggest there are no limits to how far Felix is willing to go in advancing and protecting his network of shady businesses with reported links to the underworld.

Authorities in the region, along with U.S. officials, have declined to comment on Roemer’s alleged role. However, cross-border investigations into the restructuring of El Mencho’s former network remain active, suggesting that scrutiny of the broader transition is far from over.
